Mobilize-Montgomery is a collaboration across local organizations in Montgomery County, Maryland, committed to ensuring that businesses and residents have access to critical resources during times of economic uncertainty.
Our goal is to provide streamlined support, connecting employers and employees to financial assistance, workforce programs, and business continuity resources. By bringing together key stakeholders, we aim to strengthen the local economy and help our community navigate the challenges brought on by the recent federal budget cuts.

Maryland Department of Labor The mission of the Maryland Department of Labor is to connect Marylanders to good jobs; protect workers, consumers, and the public; support Maryland businesses; and foster economic growth and competitiveness.
WorkSource Montgomery (WSM) is the fiduciary agent for Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding and the Workforce Development Board in Montgomery County. The organization operates the American Job Centers in Wheaton and Germantown and provides employment and training services to Montgomery County residents who are unemployed, underemployed, or seeking new employment. WSM also engages local businesses from various industries to ensure their current and future workforce needs are met.
Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) is the official public-private economic development organization representing Montgomery County, Maryland, and is funded by Montgomery County. Its mission is to accelerate business development, attraction, retention and expansion in key industry sectors while advancing equitable and inclusive economic growth. Rockville Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) is a public-private partnership that helps businesses launch, locate, and expand in the City of Rockville, Maryland. Committed to economic development, REDI is proactive in its efforts to support existing industry and attract new businesses with tools to get started in Rockville, and resources and guidance to existing businesses in the city.
Maryland Women’s Business Center (MWBC) is a signature program of Rockville Economic Development, Inc. MWBC helps entrepreneurs and small businesses owners across Maryland’s Capital Region start, sustain, and grow their companies. Through workshops, individual counseling, facilitated peer group support, special resources, and access to capital, MWBC annually helps over 1,500 entrepreneurs gain the skills, connections, and confidence necessary to navigate entrepreneurship.
